Environmental Review (SEQR)
SEQR establishes a process to systematically consider environmental factors early in the planning stages of actions that are directly undertaken, funded or approved by local, regional and state agencies. By incorporating environmental review early in the planning stages, projects can be modified as needed to avoid adverse impacts on the environment.
Peak will work with the client to access the proposed action to determine if SEQR applies.
When a project is subject to SEQR, Peak will analyze the action to determine its’ classification under SEQR, and likelihood of adverse impact on the environment. Generally, other site specific studies will be required for a complete determination including, Historic, Archaeological, Ecological, Traffic, and/or Visual. Peak can provide a list of consultants to perform the necessary tasks and can coordinate the submission of information for review.
